Lasallian Cub Scout Camp

From the 18th to 20th of December 2008, the Saint Joseph's Pelandok Scout Group Venture Unit facilitated the smooth running of the Lasallian Cub Scout Camp 2008 at Saint Joseph's Institution Junior (formerly known as Saint Michael's School).

Needless to say, both the cubs and their scout and venture mentors enjoyed themselves to the fullest!!

The 30 cubs came from both Saint Joseph's Institution Junior and De La Salle Primary School. This camp had a RED INDIAN theme so the 3 patrols were given 3 unique red indian names. Apache, Mohawk and Pawnee!

They learnt how to light and sustain a fire, build a trestle, pitch buffalo tents and played many games. And like last year we had lots and lots of soccer! (Next year we should have an inter-patrol soccer competition for them to get the grand trophy!!!)

Apache patrol (DLSPS) managed to win the champion trophy once again reigning defending champions till next year's camp....

All the cubs seemed to have enjoyed themselves in the camp and even the heavy rain could not put much of a damper on their spirits, although it literally put a damper on their tents, bags, clothes, shoes and scout uniform.

Photos will be uploaded by Nicholas soon enough...
